There are many brand when it comes to korean lip tint, but there are particular brands that is broadly used and loved by many women in Korea. Let's see some of them and review how good they are.

First one is Benefit Benetint, which is the most basic lip tint, the first one to come out. It's great because it looks natural. The color is lively without looking too much.

However, it has weak brush so it's not the easiest product to apply. It's difficult to perfectly control the brush at first but you'll get to used to it later. The lid also weak and easily come off so you basically can't bring it with you because it's going to leaked on your makeup pouch.

The second one is from YSL, which is the Rouge pur Couture Glossy Stain. It's popular because Jun Jihyun using it in hit korean drama 2015, My Love From Another Star. Laneige Water Sleeping Mask is a great overnight mask, and it's very popular in it's home country, Korea. It's mainly because of it's ability to revitalize the skin while you sleep. It has a water bending agent to lock moisture so when waking up in the morning, your skin been moisturized enough and ready for the day. Because it's moisturizing properties, it will make your skin look plump and glowing.

Korean Eye Makeup for Monolid and Double Eyelid

Korean eye makeup can be differentiate into 2 kinds: makeup for monolid eyes and for double eyelid eyes. Makeup for double eyelid eyes are pretty much easier than for monolid. Anyway today we're going to go through both. First, I'm going to give an example of an excellent monolid eye makeup.

You can never go wrong with gold and brown smokey eye makeup, especially if you have monolid eyes. You only need 2 eyeshadow color, light gold for the inner eye and bronze for the outer eye to create smokey effect. If you have monolid eyes, make sure to apply your eyeshadow until it appear 3 mm above the eyes when you open them.

Another issue with monolid eyes is when applying eyeliner. It's okay to apply a bit thick because most of it not gonna show up when the eyes are open. Also it's okay to thicken up the wing because again most of it basically gone once you open your eyes.

The main difference between monolid and double eyelid eyes are, the double eyelid one doesn't need that much eyeshadow and eyeliner. A little goes a long way.

First, apply the base color all over your lid and above them. Then, apply any color you want on the eyelid and below your eyes. Next you can apply eyeliner, as I said before you only need a thinnest stroke and you good to go. If you want you can apply the same color below the eyes but only on the outer part. Apply mascara, and it's done. Super easy and quick.

If you can name atleast 10 korean makeup brands within 30 seconds, then you probably having a syndrom called korean makeup addict. If you don't, that's alright, you'll soon going to join the team anyway, that's why you click this article right? Anyway here are some of the well-known korean makeup brands. The order doesn't mean anything, every brands have good side and bad side of their own. I just mention any brand that comes to my mind and arrange it the way I like it.

I will start of by introducing Innisfree. I think this brand is super good. The products are known for it's natural ingredients and it's also an animal cruelty free brand. One of the most popular item from Innisfree is the Long Wear Cushion. I don't know if there's a deal behind it, but a korean makeup artist Park Hye Min aka PONY always use it's cushion in her videos. So it must be really good. And in addition, it current models are Yoona and Lee Min Ho.

#2 Etude House

I'm sure that everybody and their mom and their dogs, knew already about this particular korean makeup brand. Mostly because the models are always popular. Jun Ji Hyun, Lee Min Ho, 2NE1 Dara, SHINee, Jang Geun Suk,  Park Shin Hye, F(x) Sulli and Krystal, what a great list of models! Apart from well known models, the price of the products are considerably cheap. Not very cheap either but pretty affordable.

Song Hye Kyo is one the icon of ultimate beauty in Korea. Well, today she probably isn't that popular unlike at 2004 when she reached the peak of her popularity with her drama, Full House. But, even today, her youthful look and flawless skin still unbeatable. That's probably why she's become Laniege model since 2008 till this day. One of the most popular item from this brand is the waterful range.

Jun Ji Hyun is probably one of the reason that this brand becomes popular. Not all of the products are famous but only some that Jun Ji Hyun used in her crazily popular drama, My Love From Another Star. If you want to recreate this colorful look, follow these simple steps. First step for this particular korean makeup tutorial, she applied Innisfree Long Wear Cushion Foundation.

Step 01 - Innisfree New Long Wear Cushion

The proper way to apply cushion foundation is to apply it with dabbing motion to achieve stroke free finish. Build up the enough amount of product to hide any imperfections and create flawless look.

Then, if you have problematic area such as blemishes or redness, apply concealer. Pony use cream concealer to make sure that it's long lasting.
